Min from ARMS is the first of six exciting new fighters to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate via Fighters Pass Vol. 2 expands the variety of unique fighters available to players, said Nick Chavez, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nintendo of America. While our support for the game continues with regular updates and the DLC, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate remains a must-have for video game fans who must battle some of the most iconic characters in video game history.
Minus is 81. The video game character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is an action thriller, with a cast that includes one of the greatest crossover game characters in history. From her humble beginnings as a Nintendo Noodle House ramen fan to her amazing performance as an ARMS Grand Prix champion, it’s not unreasonable to say that Min Min has made a name for herself. As a unique fighter, it’s only natural that Min Min’s fighting style in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is just as unique. Each of their scalable ARMS – Ramram, Megawatt, and their laser-guided Dragon ARM – can be controlled individually and have access to a variety of tools.
The accompanying mini-scene, Spring Stadium, contains a number of interactive elements that ARMS players will immediately recognize, including the ability to damage enemies on contact after using the jumping platform. Feet also bounce off the ceiling’s distinctive arches as they ascend. Enchanted ARMS drones will also seem to provide combat support items. But beware, they must be approached carefully when releasing crates to claim their rewards!
In addition to this new hunter update, on the 29th. New Miis fighter costumes, including ARMS’ Ninjara, Heihachi, Callie & Marie from Splatoon and Vault Boy, will be available for purchase separately in June.
Finally, the two fighters from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will receive the new amiibo numbers, which will be available at select retailers at a later date: The Joker, the masked ghost thief, and Hero, the slimy light fixture.
Players can still purchase the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 1 at the suggested retail price of $24.99 to gain access to the first five Challenger Packs released to play. Fighters Joker, Hero, Banjo and Kazui, Terry Bogard and Bylet are now available. For just $5.99 each, players can also purchase these earlier packages separately.
