Male or female, everyone looks hot in uniform.
Bonus points for fighting for our freedom.
In a strange anime theme to show our appreciation for these sexy defenders, we have listed some of the best soldier figures anime has to offer. Don’t question my logic, it’s just a nice list for real anime fans.
20. Fragrances Ichinosa
Anime: Owari no Seraph
Guren enters the archetype of this character that one can only admire.
Although he is the commander, no one seems as annoyed as when a meeting is called or a strategy needs to be explained.
He can also be very violent if his subordinates don’t listen to him. Even though we all know he loves her very much.
But most of all, he’s not afraid to tell it like it is and he absolutely ignites Yuu when he does something incredibly stupid. And look at that smug face.
Anime: Attack on Titan.
Speaking of absolute beef tails, they are also at the mercy of …….
The sample is probably best known for this archetype. His face, which does not hesitate to breed, seems to be on everyone’s lips when the new season begins.
He is considered the strongest soldier of mankind, and he really lives up to that title. As we’ve seen, he single-handedly destroyed countless Titans and even trained murderers.
Like Guren, Levi Ackerman has a very direct approach to life and will break your teeth if you apologize or if you have to deal with his emotional side.
18. Suzuha Amane
Anime: Steins. Gates.
Suzuha before and after identification is a big hole. In the beginning she looks like a cute and clumsy character who has fun repairing the bike and escorting the gang.
But then we discover that she is an elite soldier of the future who can (and will) absolutely beat you up if you interfere with her tasks. Not only is she physically strong, but she also knows how to stay away from the gun. And she turned out to be very smart, she even helped her future father with the time machine.
It’s called the total package.
17. Saichi Sugimoto
Anime: Golden Kamui
I thought that man was worse than him.
I mean, he’s a big, muscular man with more scars than I’ve seen under a pile of bodies.
And yet, when he left the battlefield, he was very relaxed. The best proof of this is the way he deals with the Asirpa when they share aspects of their culture, such as food recipes and knowledge. He always seems very fascinated by the exchange student.
He’s also renouncing the murder part, at least if it’s under his control.
16. Tania Degurechaff
Anime: Tanya’s evil saga…
As the title indicates, Tanya has nothing to do with the previous choice in terms of usability.
In fact, it is known to cut the throat and break the arms of those who do not follow it well. And they’re just his subordinates…. Their enemies are much worse off.
And yet there is something so fundamentally wrong with her that I can’t help but scream when she blows up another train.
I mean, she’s actually a past, he who was murdered and managed to make God angry enough to put her in this new war-torn world.
15. Mas Hughes
Anime: Metal alchemist: Brotherhood
All right, back to the good soldiers!
Maes is mainly used as a comic relief in the series, and to an excellent degree I may say.
But it’s also not a spring chicken. When it’s hard, it gets even harder.
The first thing you learn about Mays is his absolute worship and devotion to his family. His daughter and wife never seem to leave his mind, which is just adorable. It’s almost impossible to hate this man.
He’d probably make a Soldier Back Home video of our world. And I’d definitely cry.
14. Suzaku Kururugi
Anime: Code of Gees
Suzaku is a little more complicated than the previous options.
Because he killed his father, Suzaku feels extremely guilty and is willing to do whatever it takes to atone for his sin.
That’s why he’s the perfect soldier for England for a while: He never doubts his orders and carries out his tasks perfectly.
But with Zero-/Lelush in the mix, things get a little more complicated, so Suzaku now wants to kill her old friend so that real peace can be achieved. And once you’ve seen the show, you’ll know how it ends.
13. Tadaomi Karasuma
Unlike all the other famous characters in the series, Tadaomi is not a murderer, but an agent of the Ministry of Defence.
In principle, he is responsible for guarding his pupils as well as teaching Koro-sensei.
However, the emotional impact is almost zero, because it is always serious. Irina has never been a front, although making men crazy is her specialty.
But I think that’s the attitude the good cop should have, it suits him so well.
And let’s face it: Despite the fact that he never laughs and never shows emotion, nobody disputes Irina and her taste for men.
12. Laura Bodevig
Anime: Endless Stratos
Technically Laura is not yet a full-fledged soldier. But she’s on the right track because she’s a freshman at IS Academy.
And I think she’ll be a monster when she gets out of the academy, because not only does she have the skills, but her posture is perfect to climb the rankings.
For the first time in the history of anime we have a heroine kissing a boy as soon as she realizes she likes him, in front of everyone!
The only thing bothering me is their superiority complex. Especially because she came from Germany, without stereotypes, but we saw how it ended last time.
11. Yoji Itami
This man is the most average and yet most unusual character ever seen in the anime army.
With a very tragic family life, he turns to anime and becomes otaku.
Then he manages to enter the army by barely passing all the tests, only to transmit the otaku virus to other soldiers. At this point, one would think he was just a gadget and that he would be kicked out of the army quickly, but no!
Thanks to his ingenuity, he succeeds in standing up and becoming a bridge between man and the supernatural. What a guy.
Understanding Griffith is an achievement some mortals can make.
As soon as he joins the team, we can see that his charisma is fully exploited, while leaving a lot of room for mobility and fencing skills.
Every member of his team was willing to put his life in his hands, and even the senior managers who hated him could not resist his tongue in the cheek, his piercing gaze and his unnatural charm.
Because he was such a great man, every failure had dramatic consequences and crushed everyone under his command.
Did he do it for world peace, for his ego, for his entrails? I haven’t the faintest idea.
9. Mikasa Ackermann
Anime: Attack on Titan.
In many ways the Mikasa is essentially a Levi, but it has the right to be a Waifu.
She is also a very good fighter, after Levi herself, and she can handle extremely stressful situations without losing her head.
That is, as long as Eren isn’t involved. This boy is both her weakness and her strength, and she will face at least 100 Titans if that means she has to save him.
From a military point of view, this is not the best, because it goes against orders if they do not guarantee that Eren will be released from prison at the age of 56. But for us, observers, it’s very exciting to see her get angry.
Anime: Akame go Kill!
The fact that Esmertus leads an army is most hilarious.
Because whatever their weapons or skills, they just don’t need them. If she wants to, she can freeze an entire invasion force and be done with it.
But even with this amazing strength, she is an amazingly good soldier, in the sense that she doesn’t go against her king and do his dirty work, even if it bothers him.
He in turn tried to be directed, but he didn’t succeed.
7. Rudolf von Stroheim
Anime: JoJo’s Strange Adventure – Battle Adventure
This man is an absolute madman in every sense of the word. And that’s why I love him.
Okay, he’s a Nazi, so maybe I should rephrase the last part. Rudol’s a tough guy, there’s no doubt about it. And he will use innocent civilians as laboratory rats for his experiments.
But he’s also incredibly brave and never retreats from a fight, even if it means blowing him up or cutting off a leg.
And he finally contributed to the eventual defeat of the Pillar Men, so he’s not so bad.
6. Cullen Stadfeld
Anime: Code of Gees
I’ve said this a few times before, but Cullen’s just the last crumb.
She has a mentality of suppressing her feelings and throwing an occasional tantrum. But when it comes to leadership, she is the perfect soldier, both in skill and loyalty.
We also have to acknowledge that she is a strong and independent woman, because she raises her arms even when she is completely naked.
And of course, when she experiences sentimental moments, it is the most beautiful and touching experience of her life.
5. Ikta Solork
Anime: Aldermine in the air
Ikta’s a character every lazybones wants to be.
Someone doesn’t feel like going to class and just takes a nap all day.
And when he’s not napping, he’s flirting with sexy señoritas. Besides, he’s a bad fighter, even though he was in the army.
But you know what?
It doesn’t matter, because Ikta has such a big brain and plays checkers in 3D while his opponent plays checkers. That’s how the lazy General Invincible was born.
4. Roy Mustang
Anime: Metal alchemist: Brotherhood
In many ways Roy reminds me of Ikta.
On the surface he always seems to blame everything on paper and dreams only in his high and powerful mind. He’s also the proverbial flirt and has probably been through a lot.
But if you take it all away, you’ll see a thoughtful tactician constantly thinking about his next step and gathering information.
In that sense he has the aura of Ikta on his shoulders for a few more years.
3. Henry Lunge
Well, the slot on the paper is just a detective for the BKA.
But given the situations he’s in, I think it’s an exaggeration to call him a soldier.
She is a very conscientious person who tries to look at everything objectively and put together what she thinks is valuable information about the show. He is as tenacious as hell and will absolutely chase you to the ends of the earth if that means he has to solve the matter.
His family life suffers from this mentality, but the boy has a good character bow.
2. Willem Kmetsch
Anime: WorldEnd (What are you doing at the end of the world?) Are you busy? You’re gonna save us?
God, light novels and their titles.
Anyway, William is a fabulously tragic but sympathetic hero. He’s literally the last of his kind.
And as if that wasn’t enough, people aren’t at all happy that he survived!
This leads him to seriously consider the survivor’s guilt. But fortunately it soon becomes a caring and passionate heart.
He also grew up in a foster home, so that little children are his little angels of joy. Even if someone continues to imply obscene interpretations of his love for children.
1. Yoko Littner
Anime: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
For a change, I would like to take this opportunity to look at the Revolutionary Army and the little man it honestly led to many victories: Yoko.
Science hasn’t figured out yet whether it’s possible to hate Yoko.
She’s a funny, cute, cool woman who rubs her shoulders with a sniper one day and is a modelling teacher the next.
Some even suggest that their genetic code is so perfect that the authors had to make sure it wasn’t passed on to save future generations.
