Nintendo Direct Mini Turns Into A Monster –

The September 2020 edition of Nintendo Direct Mini was released this morning and many unexpected announcements were made. Remember that there is nothing Nintendo in this video, but there will soon be many more third-party and independent games. Main novelty: next year the system will offer two new games: Monster Hunter. Oh, and Hades is coming out today!

The Monster Hunter series reaches new heights – literally! – With MONSTER HUNTER RISE, a new game in the legendary series, the Nintendo Switch System was launched on 26 November. The next phase will be reached in March 2021. In this new game, players have the ability to rise above the world by using special creatures to climb rocks and jump high above the beautiful terrain around them. Capcom MONSTER HUNTER RISE was introduced in the latest version of Nintendo Direct Mini, along with a number of other great games from Nintendo’s development and publishing partners: Video presentation of the Partners Showcase, which can be seen at https://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/09-17-2020/.

During the presentation another monster hunter game, MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2, was announced: Wings of Ruin, challenges players to become a monster pilot and start an RPG adventure full of popular monsters from the series. In addition to Monster Hunter, the video presentation also featured several other Nintendo Switch games from development and publishing partners, including Disgaea 6 : Defiance of Destiny, a new record in your favorite tactical role-playing game; Fitness Boxing 2 : Rhythm & Exercise is a new way to be active in the Nintendo Switch; and Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the sequel to Ori and the Forest of the Blind, released today!

Some of the highlights presented in Nintendo Direct Mini The Partner Showcase and the Monster Hunter Video Spotlight:

  • THE MONSTER HUNTER IS ON HIS FEET: This latest addition to the action RPG series allows players to take on terrifying monsters and reach new heights. Get ready for a trip to the colourful village of Kamura, a quiet new mountain village where players can experience a unique culture and innovative hunting technology. With the help of a special insect called a wire bug, hunters can stretch out in any direction to climb rocks and imposing structures. All battle zones in each quest are perfectly connected, so the vast, vertical landscapes can be explored without loading or unloading. MONSTER HUNTER RISE starts on September 26th for the Nintendo Switch. March 2021. In addition, a version of the Deluxe Edition will be available, with full gameplay and a DLC bonus. If you order the Basic or Deluxe version in advance, you’ll receive in-game bonus items such as multi-layer armor and more.   • THE MONSTER HUNTERS OF HISTORY 2: Wings of Doom: Currently under development, MONSTER GUNTER STORY 2 : Wings of Ruin places players in the role of the monster rider who has befriended the legendary monsters in the Monster Hunter series as they embark on an epic adventure together. More details on the storyline role-playing game, to be released at Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2021, will be announced at a later date.
  • The Ori and the will of the wise: The small mind of the Ori is not alien to danger, but when the Qoo Owl’s deadly flight hurts, it takes more than courage to bring the family back, heal the broken land, and discover the true fate of the Ori. From Moon Studios, the creators of the famous Ori action platform and the Blind Forest embark on a new adventure in a large and vibrant world, full of new friends and enemies, brought to life by breathtaking hand-painted artworks. Ori and the Will of the Wise continues the Moonlight Studio tradition of using thoughtful actions and deeply emotional stories as a platform.   • Fitness box 2 : Rhythm and movement : Fitness boxing continues in the ring! Grab your controllers, choose your music and lessons and start doing various boxing exercises! Players can choose one of nine instructors, each with their own personality, three of which are new in the game: Karen, Janice and Hiro. If the players continue to train, their communication with the trainers will become more intensive. Players can even customize their outfits to vary their workout. This unit has several functions, including a two-player mode, an alarm function, and the ability to remove certain actions from the box.   • The kingdom of sin: In this new strategic game, players enter the criminal underworld of the Chicago of the 1920s. It is up to the players to go to the top of the pile with a lot of excitement, charm and intimidation and do everything possible to stay there. The Sin Empire was created on December 1 for the Nintendo Switch and can be pre-ordered today.
  • Sniper Elite 4: In the largest and most diverse world ever seen in Sniper Elite, players can expect a series that defines ballistics, intense stealth and third party action. Sniper Elite 4 will be released for the Nintendo Switch this holiday season.
  • PGA-TOWER 2K21 : The fairway is open at PGA TOUR 2K21! Play against professional gamers in amazing real-world locations, meet friends on-site and online*, or spend seasons and entire tournaments with online communities. Design a golf course and share it with the course designer using many custom options. The digital version of the PGA TOUR 2K21 is now available in Nintendo eShop at the Nintendo Switch.   • It’s been dark for a long time: In this exploration and survival game the player only travels through the frozen fauna after a geomagnetic disaster. In Winter Story mode, players will experience a chilling story, while in Survival mode they can enjoy hours of Perm gameplay.   • THE BALKAN-WONDERLAND: Like Leo and Emma, players will wear costumes to have different skills. For example, a color with a pass function allows players to rotate the pass to open doors or innovate. Here you will find more than 80 costumes with the possibility to wear three at the same time. Dress between the costumes to collect the crystals and images scattered throughout the scenes. A two-player mode is also available! By combining costume skills with friends, players can gain access to new locations. BALAN WONDERWORLD will be held on the 26th. Released on Nintendo Switch in March 2021.
  • Runecraft 5: Build a new life in the middle of a great adventure in this heartbreaking role-playing game. As a young man or woman without memories, the players make a new start as Peacekeepers Rangers in the rural town of Rigbart.
