PlayStation VR Evaluations – VR Headset that everyone can enjoy!

Sony has entered the world of virtual reality with the PlayStation VR. This helmet is the most affordable of the big three and the most important alternative for soothing players who are enthusiastic about this innovation. In any case, players will also need to invest resources in the PlayStation camera and, in order to participate fully, several PlayStation Move controllers with a double package (although you can most likely spot them for less money). In this evaluations of PlayStation VR headphones today we look at Sony’s PlayStation 4 VR headphones.

Using a PlayStation VRheadset

The PlayStation VR headphones, processor, HDMI channel, user manuals, integrated headphones with the PlayStation VR headphone extension cable and the cleaning wipe for the foci, demo head and all power channels are just what you need. So many references. For a long time, I thought it was witchcraft that made PlayStation VR work. After taking the box and installing it, I discovered the reality of the situation: It’s about connections. Details, plots and stacks of references. And then some references. The process of setting up to be reasonable seems more complicated than it actually is. The whole process took about 30 minutes, with the HDMI connection from the PS4 to the PSVR processor, at this point to the headphones themselves. The processing unit was a mystery for a long time before Sony discovered what it really does – and these are very important things.

Although the processing unit itself doesn’t add any performance for comfort and the developers couldn’t really program anything into it, it does manage some important functions. Immediately after starting the game, it’s useful to do demand-driven 3D sound processing, which in my experience makes it possible to know exactly where the sound is coming from during playback – so far this has given the game a great and nerve-racking sound plan. It also shows a social screen, which usually shows the image you see in VR, but with a lower resolution and frame rate. It also displays the PS4’s standard screen in realistic mode, allowing you to play back non-VR reproductions or view movies on the big screen. The only problem with this CPU is that it needs a special power supply, which is fine in itself, but if you turn off the PS4 completely, the power supply remains half loaded, with the red switch still on. That means this thing still uses electricity. Even if the whole system is turned off, you need to unplug it if you want to save a penny or get rid of the annoying light before going to bed. But once everything is connected, the headset basically works. No engines to modernise, no demands on craftsmanship, no constructive alternatives to change; you’re basically ready to go. There’s a software update, but let’s not split it up.

PlayStation VR Review

The Oculus Rift and HTC Vive helmets are not large devices. The models of the big buyers look like famous models. Once again, PlayStation VR is like expensive equipment you’d like to have on your desk. Every little thing in it is dazzling: a smooth white border, a dark belt and a cold light that takes into account the movement that follows. Thanks to the two balls on the back of the helmet, I could turn around and look away, and the game still worked very well. Long live it well with different sensor settings, while the gap seems to widen when the sensor is behind you. I was very shocked when I found this little trap in my PVR pocket. Another problem with headphones is that large earphones can be uncomfortable because of their size. Standard BTE headsets probably won’t work – my Bose couldn’t – but gaming headsets can be more versatile. However, I was surprised by the type of headphones that were packed, which turned out to be more than sufficient during my research.

Moreover, the RVSP does not require much space. The space in which I used the headset was not large, and even with the motion controls I could play games with relative comfort. That’s why there may be few games waiting for you to get up, and no one expects you to move around the room. The most important time I kept feeling uncomfortable was with Arhama BP, who demanded a nice space between the camera and me and also gave me a few minutes to turn around, which made me completely disoriented because I had to break the separation from my room. What will bother you is the fact that PlayStation VR is no longer connected to the dense mass of connections if it is not yet sufficiently focused on entertainment. Without having to push or unload a motorhome helmet every time you have to play, you intend to leave unattractive limbs hanging.

Comfort

The PlayStation VR is actually a very large headphone with a back jack next to the small plug with here and there a volume control on the headphones (which is connected to the plug) and an extra on/off button to mute the headphones. When I put on the helmet, I immediately saw how comfortable it was. Unlike other VR helmets, the PSVR does not protect your face with Velcro. Instead, you press the latch on the back of the helmet to widen the elastic, you put it on your head and it acclimatises accordingly, which sounds like a bad habit – a pleasant bad habit. If the helmet still feels a little loose, you can turn the plastic wheel to attach it even more firmly. The reason a helmet is so comfortable is that it never feels like it’s gripping your head.

Very comfortable and big enough.

The hardness of the helmet is evenly distributed over the eyebrows and the back of the head, and there are small elastic wrinkles on the nose that allow the outside lights to be switched off. Unlike Oculus and Vive, wearing glasses in the PSVR is not a problem. Something else that is very easy for PlayStation VR, and something I just saw while playing Batman: Archam BP, let the player rotate 180 degrees while continuing the next development. Another unusual feature is the possibility to move the box to the front of the helmet, where the show, the realisations are placed and in the opposite direction. It is mainly used to find the ideal point where the image never gets blurred again and also allows you to perform simple and authentic tasks such as sending content or finding the controller after setting up the headset. In any case, this plan has the disadvantage that there is always the possibility to see under the helmet. Although if you press the show as close to your face as possible, there is always a hole that can interrupt the jump. If you concentrate on the game, you won’t see it, especially in a poorly lit room, but it’s still there, and it’s a little embarrassing. But since it is very comfortable to wear a helmet for late sessions, I don’t think it is very comfortable.

Camera

Sony has launched another PlayStation camera that works with a PlayStation 4 VR headset. The new camera comes with its own stand, which can be raised and the focal points can be tilted, depending on your settings. The connection is now also on the back of the camera – on the PS4-controlled version it was on the edge, which means that if the cable fell out, it would be pulled out of your TV cabinet and fall out. Despite the change in the control room, it remains surprisingly annoying. A limb that is too thick and too beautiful contrasts with the weight of the camera and the tripod, causing the limb to be twisted every time I mount it. I’m stuck in a tube that holds the camera assembly together.

Display

Sony’s broadcast on PlayStation VR headphones is the lowest quality of the three big VR headphones called PlayStation VR. The PSVR uses a single 5.7-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution, while Oculus and Vive 2160 x 1200 deliver definition to each eye. The fact is, if you didn’t have specs in front of you, or if all the motorhome helmets were next to each other, I doubt if you would have seen the huge contrast.

The lower quality of the screen has some positive aspects that are noticeable: the unevenness of the screen is large enough to climb under certain conditions, and in low light the effect of the input on the screen is very clear. In a lighter environment, it’s certainly not that close to the fracture.

The screen shows the game in fantastic colours.

Instead of an extreme loss of quality, the PlayStation 4 VR is really fantastic. There are breathtaking details and the colours are fantastic too. Where the PSVR swings in the opposite direction of its opponents, there are interesting points on the dividing line where everything can become a kind of fog. When playing Battlezone, a group of tanks in the distance just turns into a shadow band, while the faces of the characters in VR Worlds’ The London Heist need detail and that’s where the screen quality starts to work.

What the PSVR offers, what neither Rift nor Vive can do, is playing games at 120 Hz with an extra 90 Hz. This makes the virtual reality in the background of the game much smoother and more comfortable. I felt not affected by movement in any of the games, whether it was driving until dawn: Bloody roller coasters, Battle-zone tanks or even EVE: Valkyrie starships. Everything was perfect.

Thanks to the realistic mode you can also play normal PS4 games with the PSVR headset. Three virtual screen sizes are available: small (117 inches), medium (163 inches) and large (226 inches). I gave Resogun a slot on the huge silver measuring wall, and the experience was incredible. Usually the image quality loses its appeal because you’re so close to the enlarged image, but so far it’s incredibly fun to play.

I also kept Inside Out to give this watch away. The picture quality is optimal on the largest screen in mode, which of course depends on how Blu-ray looks on your TV, but it’s still beautiful. The ideal approach to a painting is to make it really look like a canvas.

PlayStation 4 VR games withheadphones

So you have to go to PlayStation VR?

The PlayStation VR is simply the best virtual reality headset you can buy now, as you can see in the Sony PlayStation VR headphone overview. It is easy to sell without performance and quality. The headset is naturally shocking and incredibly comfortable to wear, and the games I officially have access to are some of the best VR sessions I’ve ever played. Compared to Oculus Rift, it offers a much more comfortable playing experience at a much lower cost. Contre Vive may not offer the level of detail and immersion, but it is damn close and does not require additional sensors in your home and will not need the same space for some games.

Do not try to see RVSP as another poor quality option compared to what the PC currently offers. However, in order to be able to assess actual participation in all matches, it is very important to place the resources in two or three movement controls. The most important secondary values are the special power supply that needs to be disconnected for complete isolation and the lack of sufficient USB ports to charge each of your controllers. Besides, it’s just a great achievement of the building. I have no idea how Sonia handled it, no matter what I say, I’m glad they handled it. I was so absorbed in virtual reality that the more I tried to use the Eye Rift, the more disappointment came in its place. Right now? I couldn’t be more passionate, and that’s all thanks to PSVR. If you want a real VR experience with lots of comfort at an affordable price, then you should choose the PlayStation VR.
