Swords of Legends Online, First Impressions after 1 week in CN

Short version: Although this MMORPG seems fairly generic at first glance, I enjoyed it and was impressed with the variety of things it can do well. And since his checkout model on the CN server seems to fit into the Western No P2W culture, I’m looking forward to this release.

  • This is a game that values your time, no RNG upgrades, end game dungeon materials/currency used to make/upgrade gear.
  • No P2W items in the cash shop, I couldn’t find any P2W items in the cash shop, the CN players also said there were no P2W items, so I’ll take their word for it.
  • Transmog system
  • Lots of cosmetics, from wings to flying mounts to body, extra options for face and body (eyes, hair, etc), outfits (many of them have special VFX), camouflage for weapons (one of the last VFX changes for some skills), teleportation animations (for example when you teleport to another area of the map).

  • Optimization, FPS drops depending on the concentrated number of mobs, players (you can mitigate this a bit by hiding other players) and map size.
