The Ultimate Collection –

When Scrap Mechanics first came out in 2016, it didn’t represent much.

But with the release of Survival Mode, the game went in a completely different direction.

The survival genre has become very saturated in recent years, but Scrap Mechanic stands head and shoulders above the rest.

In fact, you can build anything you want, allowing you to be more creative in the later stages of the game. And there are a number of mods that help complete that.

So whether it’s making vehicles and tools to perform mundane tasks, or making better weapons to fend off bots, as well as any other options you want to do….. There are mods for all of this.

Let’s take a look at some of the best ones you can try.

15. Vintage machine PokeBall

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

Getting into the scrap metal business can be difficult at first.

It’s not rocket science, but it’s complicated enough that you need to take the time to understand where the pieces are going.

While I encourage you to try and learn as you go, not everyone will want to spend that much time.

No problem, but here’s something to get you started.

LuapTheGreat was kind enough to share his ready-made Pokeball car with you, so you can use it in your own game.

14. Push-button and switch assembly

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

As you delve into the deep world of construction in Scrap Mechanic, you’ll soon find that sometimes your creativity goes beyond what the game allows.

This is where the pretty blocks come in.

And there’s no shortage of options for additional parts either.

The knobs and switches pack gives you access to 8 additional knobs and switches that allow you to trigger and switch just about anything you assign to them in your builds.

13. Wing

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

As you gain more insight into the game’s building mechanics, you’ll find that your constructions become more and more advanced.

Soon you will be in for all kinds of surprises.

This Wings modular package gives you new modular parts to use to build anything that flies (or at least what you hope).

12. MJM SciFi (and others) Mod

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

If you want to make something even more advanced, you might consider giving MJM a SciFi mod.

This includes a wide range of advanced design components, most of which look like they came from a Mars rover.

In the package you will find everything: tires, seats, radar and claw hands to play with.

11. Interior auto parts from Lord Pain

The Ultimate Collection

Choose this mode

If advanced technology is not what you are looking for, Lord Pain auto interior parts may be better suited to your needs.

There is no better fashion package if you want to give your regular car a facelift. It offers you a wide range of options to beautify your car.

The mod also gives you access to numerous car seats, steering wheels, speedometers, horns, dashboards and more, all with custom color options.

10. CoCi Camper v4.0

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

Now you’re looking for a quick way to get around – this mod is perfect for walkers.

The CoCi Camper by CocoaCoci is the perfect way to carry everything you need with you.

The camper works 100% with all its moving parts, including a private dining room, bedroom and bathroom inside the vehicle.

9. Interactive Parts Mod by Lord Pain

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

The more complex your designs, the more moving parts you will need.

Lord Pain is one of the best custom parts suppliers in the community, and their Interactive Parts Mod is perfect for more complex parts.

The package contains a long list of moving parts such as airplane fan blades, saw blades, pistons, pumps, lights and many other things you can use to add to these small parts.

8. Fawkes clothing 4.8

The Ultimate Collection

Choose this mode

While construction is a big part of Scrap Mechanic, it’s not the only thing it has to offer.

It is equally important to take care of yourself.

And that doesn’t just mean staying and eating healthy.

The Fawx’s Garments mod not only provides many different outfits for the characters, but also gives you the ability to dress up from time to time.

Who doesn’t like to dress up?

You can now prepare for any new task you want to tackle with the various options included in the mod.

7. Lord Pain modular engine parts

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

The following mod proves that Lord Pain has the answers to all your lom-mechanics needs.

It’s all there, down to the smallest detail, including the ability to customize the engines of your vehicles.

Modular engine parts give you access to a whole new list of hoses, filters, fans and everything else you need to build fully customized engines.

6. Ferris wheel

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

It’s always interesting to see what random builders come up with in Scrap Mechanics.

That’s why it’s great to see that the game is compatible with Steam Workshop: It’s easy to grab everything you need and install the game quickly.

That’s exactly what I did when I came across this prefabricated Ferris wheel from Stamsite.

I now have my own Ferris wheel in my garden.

A child’s dream finally comes true. More or less.

5. Dragonfly turns into a flying truck!

The Ultimate Collection

Choose this mode

The Stamsite Ferris Wheel is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to custom mechanical design.

Dragonfly Adahope looks like it came straight out of Transformers, as it’s a 100% truck that turns into a plane.

What’s even more remarkable about this build is that no fancy parts were used.

So you don’t need any other mods to make it work in your own game.

4. [OSITHUS] EXO-MD300

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

Crazy robots are your main enemies in Scrap Mechanic, and only then do you have your own furry suit to help you survive.

This is exactly what the Evil Sith and Saint modders have built with their exo-mechanical EXO-MD300.

This particular mecha is not a fighting mecha.

But it is useful to make mining much more efficient.

The design is also very nice and fits perfectly with the Scrap Mechanic aesthetic.

3. BombMod

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

Many would say that part of the fun of building is seeing your creations destroyed.

Not everyone will agree.

But for those who do, I highly recommend trying Hamza’s aerial bombs.

The mod includes several historical bombs, including mines, mortars, and even nuclear bombs to blow things up.

Yes, nuclear weapons. I can already imagine the fun.

2. AT-AT

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

Besides video games, Star Wars is another thing I can’t get enough of.

You can imagine my excitement at any time of the meeting, and that’s exactly what this next mod offers.

This AT-AT built in Scrap Mechanic is particularly impressive given the complexity of the game’s build mechanisms.

But in the world of crossover, everything is better with a little Star Wars.

1. LowRider Ver2

The Ultimate Collection

Select this mode

This next mod may not be as complicated as the previous ones on my list, but it’s at #1 for a simple reason:

It looks like CJ will be driving in the GTA: San Andreas.

Look how beautiful this thing is.

There are even hydraulic systems that work and everything.

GTA fans will definitely love it.
