The Mario brothers.

Mario Bros. is the original version of Nintendo released in 1983. Secondly, the game itself was very simple, there was nothing to shout about in the graphics. Super Mario Brothers.

The Super Mario Bros Game: A Complete History

It was the first release of Nintendo’s most popular series. It was the original Super Mario Bros. game that caused all the hype, and people look at it as if the original Super Mario Bros. game was released simultaneously in Japan in 1985 and North America in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). A little later it was published in Europe – in 1987 to be precise.

The Super Mario Bros Game: A Complete History

Super Mario was installed in a very simple 2D world consisting mainly of flat ground and blue sky. The world was complicated by pipes and boxes and many bad guys. The idea was very simple: as a player, you control Mario and move him around the world, killing bad guys and collecting various treasures in boxes. Usually, these boxes were hung in the air, and Mario would jump under them and even bend his head over them. This action would reveal what was hidden inside. Sometimes it’s a coin that complements your collection, and sometimes it’s a special power like a mushroom that gives you extra life.

There were always a lot of whistles in the game. Some of them hid the bad guys who suddenly appeared and tried to kill Mario or Luigi depending on which character you were playing. However, sometimes the pipes turned out to be chain pipes and transported your character to a hidden part of the game where there were special prizes. For example, sometimes you will be taken to a hidden camera filled with collectible gold coins.

At the end of each level, you can record your progress by passing and picking up a flag, after which you’ll move on to the next part of the game.

Brothers Super Mario… : Lost levels

The movie Super Mario Brothers was released in 1986. Levels lost. It was a game that was very similar to the original. The concept was the same – Mario and Luigi had to rescue the princess of Bowser, the evil character in both games. The big difference with this game was the difficulty – it was much harder to play than the original. It has 32 levels of complexity, and in each of them there are many more problems to solve. For example, in The Lost Levels you’ll come across bad prizes in some prize fields, but also deformation pipes that make you move backwards in the game, not forwards. That’s why you had to choose carefully whether or not you wanted to receive prizes, and be careful if you decided to join the chains.

Super Mario Brothers. 2

Super Mario Bros. 2 was released for North America in 1988 and for Europe in 1999. Although Super Mario 2 is still in 2D, it was really different from the original Super Mario game. There were many new enemies to fight and many new prizes and other things to collect. There are also many new features, such as the ability to pick up and throw different objects.

The game had 20 different levels spread over 7 worlds. In order to progress in the game, you had to go through the levels successfully, one after the other. When you play the game, you start with 3 lives, which you lose one after the other if you are killed by the enemy or if you fall from the end of the world. There are several ways to take an extra life, for example by collecting hidden 1-Up mushrooms. When you lose your whole life, the game stops and forces you to start again.

Having only one card to draw made it easier to follow your progress through the game, and made it more exciting than ever. Or go back and see some of the bad guys you missed the first time.
