What Are Treasure Hunts & Why Would I Do Them? –

Treasure hunts are fun, exciting and exciting to be engaged in. They can be a great way to meet new friends and make new memories with friends from all over the world. The treasure hunts can also be a great way to keep your mind healthy. They are a good way to put your thoughts into a place where you can think about them, in a positive way.

It’s been several years since I’ve been to one of the notorious treasure hunts, but I know it’s still popular with certain groups of people. That’s because treasure hunts can be fun, educational, and a great way to meet people. But what are treasure hunts, exactly?

It’s kinda hard to explain, but I’ll try. Treasure hunts are weird things that happen all the time, but seem to be non-existent in the gaming world. This is because most games don’t have any sort of treasure hunt in them. If they do, it’s usually some sort of “hard mode” or “extended mode” of their game. If it’s a multiplayer game, it’s a race of some sort. If it’s a single player game, it’s an achievement. It’s all about the reward.

Treasure Hunt is a Final Fantasy XIV action introduced in patch 2.1. Harvesting nodes may provide players with a map when collecting resources as a Disciple of the Land. Deciphering these maps will lead the player to secret riches.

But there’s a catch to everything. And if you’re a want tobe treasure seeker (slow down, Nic Cage), you can expect some opposition.

Treasure Coffers are equipped with traps that call waves of monsters to the treasure’s location, and if you succumb to these enemies, you’ll lose your reward.

Some maps are made for single players, while others are made for groups.

There are also many kinds of treasure maps, each with a name that corresponds to the degree of difficulty (and prize!) they provide.

Treasure hunting is a fantastic activity to do with your Free Company if you’re looking for something different from the typical dungeon grinds – particularly if you have several gatherers scooping up lots of maps.

Every eighteen Earth hours, gatherers may only uncover one map.

Furthermore, you can only have one map open at a time.

If you don’t mind shelling out, though, there are no limitations to how much you may buy from the Market Board.

What’s the Best Way to Begin Treasure Hunting?

You must first reach level 36.

Go to Eastern La Noscea and talk with H’loonh in Wineport after you arrive. The quest “Treasures and Tribulations” will be given to you by her.

This will take you through the fundamentals and give you the two talents that every treasure seeker needs:

Investigate and decipher.

With all of the necessary equipment in hand, all you need to do now is get your hands on a map and begin searching.

A brief note: although Decipher and Dig may be unlocked at level 36, the earliest maps available are intended for players level 40 and above. So if you’ve just just reached level 36, you may want to hold off a while.

Where Can I Get Treasure Maps?

You may find treasure maps in two ways: by collecting them yourself or by purchasing them.

They’re mostly made by Disciples of the Land, who collect professions like botany, mining, and fishing throughout the globe. A collecting node will have an opportunity to give you with a map once every eighteen hours.

Botany and mining nodes will provide you a map with a randomized quality, while fishing holes have predetermined ratings.

If you don’t want to take the collecting way, you may purchase your map of choice from any large city’s Market Board.

This offers a few advantages to collecting them yourself.

You may purchase the exact map you desire, which means you won’t be exposed to harsh RNG.

You can purchase more than one a day if you receive a map, solve it, return to the Market Board, and repeat the procedure.

The apparent disadvantage of purchasing your maps is the price.

Prices will vary depending on the map’s quality and the economy of your planet, and they may change on a daily basis.

Newer maps that demand a greater degree of collecting are usually more costly.

You’ll just need to use your Decipher talent on the map after that to get it to lead you in the correct direction. A popup indicating to the item’s location will appear when you use the deciphered map. To find it, you’ll need to cross-reference it with your in-game map.

What Kinds Of Treasure Maps Am I Able To Get?

The Timeworn Leather maps are the first treasure maps available at level 40.

These are the most frequent maps, and they only provide a little amount of reward at the conclusion of the search.

They’re followed by Timeworn Goatskin, which caters to players who have reached level 45 and offers considerably greater prizes.

Each expansion also comes with its own set of treasure maps, with the difficulty increasing by five levels each time.

Rather of listing them all, I’ll simply call attention to the ones that provide something different:

Archeoskin, Wyvernskin, and Dragonskin maps are available in Heavensward.

The Aquapolis is an unique instance that takes a lot of luck to accomplish. Dragonskin maps are intended for full parties of level 60 players and have a possibility to reward players with access to it.

The group will have to unlock one of two doors after killing enemies and collecting treasure. One will take them further into the dungeon, while the other will kick them out.

There are seven chambers in all, but since every time you open a door, you’re effectively taking a 50/50 chance, you’ll seldom make it to the conclusion of The Aquapolis. But even if you don’t make it to the finish, you’ll retain the treasure you’ve earned, so it’s not a waste of time.

Gaganaskin, Gazelleskin, and The Thief’s Map are all available from Stormblood.

The Thief’s Map is unique in that it may provide entry to The Hidden Canals of Uznair. This is similar to Aquapolis, except it is suggested that you play with a complete party of level 70 people. Players will now have an option of three doors each time they wish to go further, reducing their odds of reaching the finish even more.

A “Seemingly Special Timeworn Map” may be found during the Moogle Treasure Trove event. This map ensures a safe passage to Uznair.

Gliderskin and Zonureskin are the only two maps available in Shadowbringers for now.

Gliderskin suggests a level 80 single player, whereas Zonureskin is unique in that he requires a complete party of level 80s.

It has the potential to give access to The Dungeons of Lyhe Ghia, which, like the others before it, operates in the same way.

With just five chambers, Lyhe Ghia is smaller than Aquapolis and Uznair. However, if you play this game right now, you’ll be rewarded handsomely.

What kind of treasures will I unearth?

Treasure Coffers will shower you with crafting supplies, furniture, Tomestones, minions, and, of course, gold.

The greater the prizes, the more difficult the map is.

If you purchase your maps from the Market Board, the gil may not be enough to pay all of your expenses. However, it’s a fantastic added bonus for a fun group activity.

Treasure hunts are a great way to pass the time in a Free Company, and everyone gets a chance to get their hands on some valuable items.

Finally, Timeworn Maps’ Treasure Coffers may sometimes reward you with Unhidden Maps.

These will take you to a second coffer, which has much rarer prizes and more difficult opponents to defeat.

Given that they are targeted at level 50 players, they may not be as interesting for endgame treasure seekers as they previously were.
