There are many Classic WoW mounts players can get their hands on. Mounts are essential to the game: they improve your quality of life since you explore Azeroth on foot until level 40, and that’s a considerable amount of time.
Everyone loves to collect epic mount Classic WoW. You’re constantly using and showing them off.
Mounts are locked behind Exalted reputation besides your own race’s mount. So if you’re a human and you want to ride a Night elf mount, you’ll have to be Exalted with Darnassus.
It’s so time-consuming, especially if you want to get all the mounts Classic WoW has to offer.
You can farm rep by giving away cloth at the intendant in the capital city of your chosen faction. That means you either farm for it or spend gold on the Auction House for it.
Mounts themselves are expensive on top of riding skills. You get a discount depending on what faction you’re learning your riding skill from.
Riding skills differdepending on what type of mount you’re riding. So, to ride elven sabres, you need to learn Tiger Riding first.
To be frank, having to learn every type of mount riding skill is a gold sink.
Also, there are race restrictions to mounts. For example, Taurens can’t ride Undead horses and Troll raptors (this only applies to race mounts), while only gnomes and dwarves can use mechanostriders.
You can’t use mounts in water, unlike on retail. You will be dismounted as soon as the waters are too deep. Mounts are designed only as a vehicle; they can’t attack and can’t be summoned in combat.
Know-how: farming gold
You need to start saving gold at level 30-ish, so you comfortably play and get the mount Classic WoW at level 40.
Sell everything you don’t need on the auction house: in Classic, the AH doesn’t have good filters, so players usually stick to the lots that are presented on the first page, thinking it’s a good deal.
So the trickis to make sure your bid price is lower than your buyoutprice since the AH shows lower bid prices first, no matter how actually expensive the buyout is.
