UPDATE : Just before I published this article, GameStop sent me an email to let me know that they were selling PS5 live on Gamestop.com tonight. They gave me no other time than tonight to say Get ready to order online, but read our tips on how to secure your PS5 for the day of its release! Good luck!
This week I moved the PS Weekly by one day to pay homage to this holiday, but we will be back next Tuesday without regular news. It’s time for the first wave of PS5, and there are less than 24 hours left before the official launch! Whether they wake up at the store or have their orders delivered to their home, players take a fast train everywhere! Choo-Choo! Exciting moments!
Warning for those who could not order the PS5. If you or someone you know PS5 hopes to pick up from the stores on the day of release, plan accordingly. It has been announced that (at least in the United States) stores will not sell set-top boxes in person. You need to place your order online and pick it up in the shop. I’m sure there are delivery options, but the fact is it’s not good for you to camp out in the shops at night. Some stores are likely to ignore this policy and sell set-top boxes personally and without prior order, but this will not be the case for most stores.
I advise you to install multiple phones, tablets, laptops or computers and connect to the websites you want to buy from and wait for the spam button to update. If you want to shop at Walmart, they will make an offer on November 12th so you can shop online.
PS5 consoles will be sold at Walmart.com at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 9:00 EST. This involves constant updating. I don’t know what time to start the checks, but I’ll be ready at least 30 minutes before those checks. PS5 can get airborne sooner, so it’s good to be here. When you’re in line, you stop cleaning. Otherwise, save it until you see that it is available and add it to your shopping cart to place an order.
You can check online and on social networks such as Twitter to see if there are different times for other traders. I know the GameStop will be online in a few minutes from the Xbox X series, so we expect the same from PS5. Due to the global pandemic, we do not expect stores to offer the PS5 console in a single store, so we must not forget that there are thousands, if not more, scalers who try to enter these orders online before you can get one, and then sell them online for a fairly large amount of money.
Although this generation of consoles may be more exciting than the previous one, it is probably the most disappointing for consumers in the history of the game. Although it still takes months to plan and consider the consequences of using online scalpers, many consumers are being held back by console manufacturers and major retailers. I hate to sound trivial and say it won’t be a problem after all, but it is. After a while, anyone who wants to have the PS5 as soon as possible will get it because the initial question slows down, but it is still zero for those who want it now, and they have to keep an eye on the updates, etc..
Another thing to remember: the sale will be broadcasted live on Black Friday, after Thanksgiving. Again, the scalper will hide, but hopefully you can catch him when you’re at the market. The consoles will be very limited one day after its release and for a while after that, so I want to wish everyone who is still looking for the best and maintain a positive attitude. Negative votes are of no use to anyone if there are failures.
