We’ve already discussed the features of the best subs in the game, and now, we’re going to cover the process of setting up your own, to help you take your first steps into the world of the Soviet sub K-141.
If you play World of Warships on PC, you’ve probably heard of the Submarine Commander Award. It’s a special achievement for captains who have sunk a lot of ships in World of Warships. But, if you consider yourself a hardcore submarine player, what kind of ships would you sink? How many? How far would you go? It’s time to find out!

- Fix the Type XXI reload; it’s a math problem that even 10-year-olds can answer. It takes 60 seconds for one loader to reload one torp. It takes two loaders 60 seconds to reload two torps. It takes four loaders 60 seconds to reload four torps. When 6 loaders reload 6 torps, how long does it take?

By the way, you can cut it down to 48 seconds. It’s a Tier 10 ship, not a Tier 8 sidegrade, and it goes all in on the bow, with none of the other submarines’ versatility. Or at the very least, let it fire single torps so you don’t lose any brain cells if you choose it over Balao (which has nearly the same submerged speed, what a main selling point to have).

At least a skill should be added to prevent plane spotting and RPF from working at operation depth. Remove the ability to shoot torps at maximum depth, gradually darken the water filter, and raise the ambient volume by 9000. Maybe not… but do it anyhow. Why not include sharks as well?

Add another gameplay option with more damaging torps that isn’t centered on this homing nonsense. Pinging should then illuminate the target while concealing the origin of the ping (DCP should work). Because, you know, sneaky hunter. You have the damage potential of a tier 4-5 ship against individuals with an IQ above 90 in their present incarnation. Stat shamers are ecstatic. In general, there is no appropriate transition from Tier 6 to Tier 8.

Remove the ridiculous battery indicator that shows your opponents how much energy they have left (like wtf… WHY). Who came up with this concept in the first place? He should be fired since he is a horrible guy. Respect the privacy of a submarine.

Make the person who chose the recommended talents play the game at least once. Rework the skill tree in general; it’s full of pointless nonsense; the requirements alone are absurd, but the benefits would be a comedy even if they weren’t there to begin with. WHILE SPOTTED, a 5% reload speed… On a scale of one to ten, I’d be spotted again. WHEN THE BATTERY LEVEL IS BELOW 25%, THE RATE OF SPEED INCREASES BY 15%. It’ll be well worth it to drain this crap for another 2-4 knots. I’ve got to get going. Hydrophone-activated abilities in general… what a brilliant concept to have pointless gimmick bonuses linked to a very strong limited-supply consumable. While being discovered, -25 percent of your diving capacity is depleted… Dude, just dive to the maximum depth and don’t bother reading any more; it also works when the battery is over 25%. It was well worth the 4 skill points.
The rest is OK, but you have an unfair advantage in selecting abilities when compared to other classes. With a 9-skill captain, you’re good to go… 13 if you want to make things interesting.
This brings us to the end of the high effort input, which serves as a clear roadmap for WG on how to implement subs.
