As part of the launch of the new season, Treyarch is offering a limited time event called Falling Earth. The test consists of six exams spread over the two games. Each challenge rewards the player with a unique item in the game. But with time running out, you may be wondering how to effectively complete these challenges. To complete the Landfall event in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, you must complete these quests:

  1. Secure five uplink stations in the war zone.
  2. Destroy ten enemies near active communication stations or recently downed satellites in Warzone.
  3. Collect three rewards from crashed satellites in the Warzone.
  4. Earn 1,000 points by capturing uplink stations in the Fireteam Sat-Link in Cold War game.
  5. Achieve 250 destructions in Collateral, Collateral Strike, Hijacked, or Amsterdam matches in Cold War.
  6. Find 15 kills with the Scorestreak hand cannon in the Cold War game.

Completing all quests in each game mode unlocks the epic private party plan for the Magnum pistol. It works the same way as the eagle hunt in season 3.

Uplink stations appear in random locations in Warzone Royal Battle mode. They’re not on the map, so you’ll have to look for them a bit. To secure an uplink station, stand next to it and wait for the meter to fill. After anchoring the uplink station, look to the sky to see if the satellite will hit a nearby location. Go to the Satellite Cache map marker to be rewarded with loot. This way you can complete the third task of the Landfall event.

The second task speaks for itself, as it is sufficient to get ten kills near an active uplink station. You get kills if you stand next to a crashed uplink station or satellite. It doesn’t have to be something you supplied yourself, so keep that in mind.

The second Cold War challenge is to reach 250 destruction on one of the new Season 4 maps.
