Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is fun

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a fun fan service to tide us over until the next full release. FFVII Remake Intergrade is a fan made game that’s a spin off of the Final Fantasy VII Remake that’s currently in development. The game itself has been in development for approximately 4 years now and is a new game created by a company named WhiteMoon, and is published by Square Enix. The game was released in February of 2017 for PC and there is no set release date for the game on the PS4 or Xbox One.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the latest in a long line of Final Fantasy fan-made projects that have given us a glimpse of what Final Fantasy VII Remake could look like. FFI Intergrade, a product of the popular fan-made series, is a great way to keep the hype levels up for the big remake while also allowing the fans the chance to play another little taste of what they’ve been waiting for.

Just a few months after the release of the HD remaster of the original Final Fantasy VII, a short demo has emerged, in which the classic Cloud and Barret of Final Fantasy VII, are stripped of their iconic roles and forcefully placed in the game Final Fantasy XV as playable characters. The idea seems to be that the original team at Square Enix saw the success of its own remake, and in order to help fans tide them over until the release of the full remaster, they’ve decided to jam the two characters into the game.. With big eyes and a filthy Mughl costume, this side story makes it clear that Yuffie is no Cloud Strife. While Strife had emotional baggage and constantly expressed her distaste for her mission, Yuffie is energetic and ambitious, but not without flaws. With the full-fledged sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake still a long way off, it was necessary to see the story in a better light to keep fans interested.

Even on the PlayStation 4, Final Fantasy VII Remake’s world, environments, and aesthetics were already well done, but for those who paid for the PS5, Intergrade is an investment of time worth making. With the ability to switch between 4K and 60fps resolution, Midgar looks better than ever. The only new story content in the game is the Intermission episode with Yuffie, which is only two chapters long and takes about five hours to complete before the credits roll. There’s nothing graphically or technically unique about this DLC that would make the PS5 experience possible, but as such it serves as a good bridge between Remake and the next chapter, which could very well be a PS5 exclusive title.

I found it hard to invest in upgrading Yuffie, Sonon and their gear before I started the game, because I knew the experience would be short – it’s not the kind of game where you feel like you can stop and smell the Mako. The game includes a few side missions, as well as a storyline that is linked to a fully playable MOBA-like tournament game called Fort Condor, if you’re looking for something to do. All of this content would probably fit well into the big intergrade remake game, but could be ignored if it were standalone like this DLC.

The interlude episode is for those who missed Yuffie last time and can’t wait for the next game to play as this feisty but brave little ninja. It expands the overview of the Final Fantasy VII world a bit, but for some die-hard fans it might be all they need during the long wait for the next installment in the remake saga.Intergrade is a multi-player online, browser-based, social RPG set within the FF7 world that allows fans to interact with their favorite characters and celebrate their love for this series.
