Cementing Paste is a mixture of white glue and aggregate (large sand-like rocks) that you need to make in ARK. The aggregate is gathered from the surrounding area (such as rocks, sand, and gravel). You can get the aggregate from digging up the ground and harvesting. You’ll need to find the aggregate, but you can also craft them by harvesting aggregate yourself.

Today, we’re going to learn how to make cementing paste in ARK , my favourite survival game. This project involves making a two part cement that is used to permanently attach walls and ceilings to structures. I found it very difficult to find useful instructions for making cementing paste in ARK, so here’s how I did it.

Cement paste is a resource from Ark that is in almost constant demand, as it is required for the manufacture of a large number of items.

This item can be both created and crafted, so you can get it into the game and onto different cards in different ways.

Over time, you’ll need a hefty supply of cement paste to build, craft and more, making it one of the most important resources in the game.

How is cement paste made?

When you reach level 13, you can learn the Cement Slab engram, which also unlocks tree sap taps and a tank.

The most common method of making cement paste is with a mortar and pestle. This requires 4 times chitin or keratin and 8 times stone, yielding 1 cement paste.

On the chemistry table you can make 6 putties by dosing 16x chitin or keratin and 32x stone.

Since the update of Genesis, shell fragments can also be used instead of chitin or keratin with stone to make a cement paste.

Cement paste fixing techniques

In addition to collecting a ton of chitin or keratin and the stone needed to make cement paste, you can use several methods to obtain this raw material.

The giant frog (Beelzebufo) kills insects (Meganeura or Titanomyrma) and collects their carcasses. He makes a putty paste for every carcass he eats.

Most Arc cards have Castoroids, which means they tend to make beaver dams, and you can access them for cement paste.

Be careful not to take any items into the beaver dam (such as for access to the vault), as the beavers nearby will become aggressive and chase you.

You can also use Achatina paste as a substitute for cement paste; this raw material comes from an Achatina (a large snail) that produces this paste when tamed.
