Around the world in 80 Days makes a list of board games like Candy Land because it’s a great trip along the track with all the runners until the end. You may encounter some obstacles, but it all depends on how you overcome them and how fast you can move forward.
Following in the footsteps of Phileas Fogg and Pasparta, players try to bypass the world in 80 days on a map of Victorian jewels. The player in turn chooses one of the travel cards with the picture facing up. Each card comes with a different one (e.g. to be the first player in the next round). Then he decides to go to the next town. Is he waiting until the next round, hoping for better cards, or is he starting his journey now? For 2 to 6 players the game lasts 50 to 70 minutes.

#03 | Owl!
Hoot Owl Hoot! makes a list of board games like Candy Land, as you can use it to move your owls to the nest on a similar colored orbital path. Unlike Candy Land, it is a shared game, but there is always a rivalry in the way the characters can jump on each other.
Players want to bring all the owls back to their nest before sunrise and the beginning of the new days. Players keep their cards open in front of them so that they can develop a movement strategy together. If a player has a sun card, he has to eject the sun and move the sun tile to a location; if he has all the colour cards, he ejects a colour card and then moves an owl to the next free location of that colour. For 2 to 4 players the game takes about 15 minutes.

Very simple and yet very beautiful.
Each player is a traveler crossing the Baltic Sea Route, one of the largest roads in Japan. During the trip, you will meet people, taste delicious food, create beautiful collections, discover beautiful panoramas, visit temples and wild places, but at the end of the day, when everyone arrives, you must become the most dedicated traveller – meaning you will discover the most interesting and diverse things. With 2 to 5 players the game takes about 45 minutes.
